Account Deletion Request

You can delete your UGATV account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to submit the request, what gets deleted, which single record is retained, and how long it takes.

Option 1 — In the app

The fastest route is to delete your account from inside the app:

• Open the UGATV app and sign in to your account.
• Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation and tap Hesabımı Sil (Delete My Account).
• Complete the confirmation step.

Option 2 — By email

If you cannot access the app, you can submit your request by email. Please follow these steps:

• Send an email to hello@ugatv.app from the email address registered to your account. The request must come from the registered address so that we can verify your identity.
• Use "Account Deletion Request" as the subject line.
• In the message, include the email address on your account and your username if you have one.

What gets deleted

Once your request is confirmed, all of the following is permanently erased:

• Your account and username;
• Your email address;
• Your password and session data;
• Your watch history and app usage data;
• Your subscription status record;
• Any lists and content preferences you have saved.

The records we keep: pseudonymised security hashes

We state this plainly for transparency: after your account is deleted, cryptographically hashed, pseudonymised identifiers derived from both your email address and your device identifier are retained.

These records exist solely to prevent fraud and abuse — they stop users from deleting and re-creating accounts in order to reset their free video quota.

• The hashes are one-way and irreversible.
• Your email address, device identifier and identity cannot be recovered from them.
• They are never used to contact you or for marketing.
• They are never shared with third parties.

We describe these records as pseudonymised rather than anonymous: because a hash can be matched by verification, it remains personal data under the GDPR and the KVKK, and your rights continue to apply to it.

Beyond this, billing records we are legally required to keep are retained until the end of the applicable statutory period. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you are not affected by deletion.

Cancel your subscription first

If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it automatically. Subscriptions are managed by Google Play. To stop being billed, cancel your UGATV subscription before deleting your account: on your Android device go to Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Process and timing

• We send you a confirmation email as soon as we receive your request.
• Once your identity is verified, your account is permanently deleted within 30 days at the latest.
• We notify you again once the deletion is complete.

Can deletion be undone?

No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once your account is deleted, your watch history and preferences cannot be recovered. If you want to use the service again, you will need to create a new account.
